🪐My fascination with space began in Grade 9 when I studied astronomy as part of my science class. I was captivated by the vastness of the universe and the intricate mechanics that govern it. The beauty of the stars and galaxies was a sight for sore eyes, and I developed a deep admiration for the wonders of space. At the time, I dreamed of becoming an astronaut, imagining what it would be like to explore the cosmos firsthand. However, as I learned more about the incredible technology that enables space exploration, I found myself increasingly drawn to the engineering side of things. The idea of designing and building the tools and systems that make space travel possible sparked a passion for innovation and problem-solving. This shift in focus ultimately led me to pursue a career in engineering, where I could contribute to exploring the unknown in my own way. 🌌
🇸🇩I’m originally from Sudan, and I used to love traveling there before the war broke out. Visiting Sudan always felt special, as it was a chance to connect with my roots, embrace the vibrant culture, and spend time with family. One of my favorite parts of those trips was the airplane journey itself. Flying always gave me a sense of wonder, and I remember staring out of the window, amazed at the view from above. Those experiences deepened my love for aviation and technology and played a big role in shaping my interest in engineering. ✈️
🍽️Outside of academics, I have a variety of hobbies that keep me balanced and energized. I enjoy shopping, trying out new restaurants, and going to the gym. I also love watching good shows, they’re a great way to unwind and dive into engaging stories.
As for extracurricular activities, I’ve had the privilege of volunteering at an Arabic school. This experience allowed me to give back to my community while staying connected to my cultural roots. It taught me valuable lessons in responsibility and leadership, which I carry with me in everything I do.
